Corporate History
Westlake Medical Center is the fulfillment of the vision of five (5) doctors to establish a tertiary level medical facility in Laguna that can match the premium and modern hospitals in the metro. In 2009, the founding doctors created the Cor Christus Medical Group, Inc. and set out to begin the creation of the hospital we now know as Westlake Medical Center.
Westlake Medical Center formally opened its doors as a small outpatient clinic in 2010 and in December of the same year, the construction of the new hospital started at the site where it proudly stands today. In 2014, the Westlake Medical Center building was inaugurated.
In 2015, Westlake Medical Center became part of the Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. and, under its tutelage, continues to achieve the hospital’s primary vision of offering quality, yet affordable healthcare to its surrounding communities in Laguna.
